1 c shortening
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c applesauce
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
3 ½ c flour
1 tsp salt
1 c chopped nuts
2 c oats
1 c choc chips or raisins (opt)
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and applesauce. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Drop by rounded spoonful onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min.
